(Big Leaf Hydrangea) Let's Dance Arriba!® is one of the most prolific blooming Bigleaf Hydrangeas to date. Let's Dance Arriba!® is a cross between H. macrophylla (Bigleaf Hydrangea ) and H. serrata (Mountain Hydrangea) to create a shrub that has large, full blooms with the increased hardiness from the Mountain Hydrangea. In early June, here in Michigan, the first round of blooms appears from the previous season's growth. About 3 weeks later you will start to see the second round of blooms appear from the new season's growth. Let's Dance Arriba!® is an excellent rebloomer that features shades of pink to purple depending on your soil type. Hardy in zones 5-9, Let's Dance Arriba!® grows 2-3 feet tall and wide. In the warmer climates, you may get up to 4 feet tall and wide with your longer growing season. Planted in full sun to part shade location with moist well-drained soil is recommended. For our southern gardeners, we recommend giving your plant an area with afternoon shade. The Let's Dance® series of hydrangeas are great for foundation plants, mass plantings, or plant alone as a specimen in your perennial gardens.
