Let’s Just Order The Bottle is about those nights that accidentally become exactly what you needed. You think it’s just going to be one quick glass of wine on the way home. Sit for a minute. Catch up. Head out early and be responsible. But then someone says, “let’s just order the bottle.” And that’s kind of it. Shared fries hit the table. A few small plates start making their way around. Water glasses, wine glasses, half-finished conversations… everything slowly fills in. And just like that, no one’s in a hurry anymore. This painting captures that exact moment when a table shifts from a quick stop into a full evening. The kind of cozy wine bar with a European edge that somehow makes you slow down the second you walk in. Warm lighting. Deep conversations. A table that’s probably heard a thousand stories before yours. One more glass.Pass the fries. No one’s checking the time anymore. That’s the energy in this painting. It’s about the nights that weren’t planned. The ones that sneak up on you and reset you a little. The conversations that get deeper after the second pour. The feeling of realizing you actually needed to sit still and stay awhile. I can already picture this piece in a dining room, bar area, or entryway. Somewhere it quietly sets the tone before anyone even sits down. Still centered around the table.Still about gathering. Just this time, it’s about the nights you almost didn’t make plans at all. This 30x40" original oil painting features layered brushwork, rich color, and expressive movement designed to bring warmth and atmosphere into a space. The vertical format works beautifully above a bar cart, in a dining room, kitchen nook, lounge space, or entryway where it can immediately create a welcoming, lived-in feeling. The painting is wired and ready to hang with painted edges for a clean, finished look.
