Leucidal Liquid is derived from radishes fermented with Leuconostoc kimchi, a lactic acid bacteria that has traditionally been used to make kimchi. The bacteria that supports the f ermentation process of kimchi secretes an isolated peptide that has been known to have antimicrobial benefits, this isolated peptide is Leucidal Liquid, otherwise known as Leuconostic/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate. Leucidal Liquid is heat stable up to a temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit. A standard dilution is 2%-4%. It is commonly used in organic lotion making as an antimicrobial, as it is ECOcert approved for use in certified organic products.
