Level 3- Board Training: In the next 3 hours, you will body drag with the board, board start and then try to ride longer distances. The goal of Level 3 is to be able to ride upwind. At this level you will be stoked and begin to think about buying gear and taking your skills to new heights! You will also be issued an IKO Certification so you can take your kiteboarding skills to other kitespots and be able to rent gear all over the world. Level 3 - Independent Level Requirements J Controlling the riding speed by edging Toeside edging K Consistently riding in all directions including upwind Riding amongst other riders and water users and respect the right of way rules L Changing of direction without stopping Making a toe side turn M Making risk assessment and becoming aware of the riding area Self-launching N Knowing the theory and the safety rules for jumping Landing a basic jump
