Syringe is included to pump simulated stool through the unit to provide drainage and excretion at the ostomy. The syringe is inserted through tubing attached to the back of the model. The consistency of the stool can be varied by using water to thin the material, and most of the stool can be saved and reused. Includes model, display easel, syringe, simulated stool, and instruction manual.The anatomy of the ostomies is carefully reproduced to provide lifelike functions and appearance. A soft, pliable material is used for the stomas in order to achieve the most realistic tactile sensation.
