With its distinctive bottle brush flowers and charming strappy foliage, button snakewort is an underappreciated gem we feel should be seen in far more gardens. Growing to roughly 7 0cm, this plant is an ideal pick for the back of shorter borders, or the mid-border in the case of taller beds. An extremely hardy plant, this liatris can withstand incredibly severe cold (RHS H7) and still come out the other side kicking. Plants don't get much tougher! Did you know?
