The bowls are special to me. after my mother died, I found that she had carefully kept an archaeology paper of mine, an analysis of a mound at Tel-Hasi, complete with drawings. It was an extremely difficult time, and as the weeks passed I felt I must do something to honour my mother and the education she bestowed upon me, of which she was so proud. So I took the drawings and recreated this libation bowl, in honour of my mother. Natural variations are a part of the bowl’s charm, they are made individually and no two are the same.
