However, the reason the condition is described as Good to Excellent is that there is some wear on some of the gold gilt decorative design, notably the drum (see photo). There are no chips, flea bites or cracks, and the non-frosted portions of the glass is clear, no cloudiness. The signs of wear are typical of used (and by this, we clearly used to drink from) glassware from this time period. It's a hard to find set, with the accompanying rack, and the rarity pushes it toward the excellent condition category.
