Original painting on a 16x20 canvas. This painting is from my Zodiac series, where I reimagined each zodiac sign as a unique skull-and-bones composition inspired by its symbolism and element. Every sign features its own distinct skeletal form set against a background representing its elemental nature. Representing the air sign, Libra, this piece replaces the traditional scales with two skeletal hands, each delicately holding a bird skull to symbolize balance, harmony, and the constant search for equilibrium. The bird skulls reflect Libra's air element, while the swirling silver background evokes movement and the invisible currents of air that connect the series' elemental themes. By combining skeletal imagery with Libra's symbolism, this painting explores the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability, reminding us that true harmony comes from embracing every part of ourselves.
