Evergreen forest inspired limited edition Lichen Path illuminations are individually hand gilded with 24kt gold, signed, numbered and ready for framing. Each museum-quality illumin
ation is made with bright archival water resistant inks on velvety smooth lightfast acid free pH neutral 100% α-cellulose German Etching paper by Hahnemühle who’s papers have been prized in European houses of nobility for centuries for their highest levels of craftsmanship and superb durability. Only a max of 99 Lichen Path illuminations each of the small and medium sizes and nine of the largest size will be made from the original ~6"x6” watercolor and 24k gold illumination. It features five and ten-fold symmetry drawn with ruler and compass based on the method taught by Richard Henry in the UK from the Iranian Topkapi Scrolls. Painted using purchased paints that contain some portion of natural stone pigments inspired by the forest colors in north Idaho where it was painted. © BKS 2021
