Licorice Root adds a pleasing flavor to porters, stouts and dark ales. Also, sweetens and improves head retention. Licorice blends well with juniper berries and mugwort. In a 5 gal lon batch, use 1/2 - 1 ounce during last 20 minutes of the boil. Show more
