HOW TO BREW: Bagged: Use 1 tea bag per 16 oz of 185 ºF water. Begin drinking when temperature is comfortable but never remove tea bag. Teaching Herbalism Through Tea Craft This blend was created with the intention of offering an uplifting tonic for those times when we are down and just need something to lift us up back onto our feet with a gentle and nurturing nudge. Oftentimes, it is difficult to determine if it is anxiousness wearing you down or being down making you feel anxious. I wanted to create a blend that you didnt have to know that answer for certain to get a desired result. The first herb I called in was Holy Basil. Not only is it an adaptogen that can help restore a taxed nervous and adrenal system that can often lead us to feeling worn out and empty, itt is also well known for its ability to create a calm yet uplifted sense of wellbeing. Next, I invited in Damiana. A long respected aphrodisiac herb known well for its uplifting and blood flow enhancing properties. You may already know, but most aphrodisiac herbs also offer uplifting properties as well and visa versa. My third companion in this tea was Mucuna seed. This amazing and delicious plant brings well researched mood boosting benefits from tradition as well as some modern research confirmation, based on its levels of L Dopa which our body converts to Dopamine. This isn’t the only thing that makes this plant wonderful for mood and nervous system health, but it is nice to know a little about its mysterious and wonderful plant magic. I also know the need for good cerebral circulation in regards to mood and energy levels. Gotu Kola is a favorite of mine for this as well as rosemary. Finally, when considering flavor, I wanted none other than the lovely lavender to bring its sense of wellness, calmness and wellbeing into the mix. All work well together to create an overall sense of wellbeing and deeply deeply nourish the nervous system and overall body for vitality and health. The kraft bags holding our teas are recycled and compostable. The inner lining is plant based and the outer layer is FDA approved recycled natural Kraft. Tin tie closures need to be removed prior to sending it to compost heap. Our unbleached tea bags are sealed with a food grade staple and no chemical sealant. Each is compostable, as well as the herbs inside, once staple is removed. They love to return to the earth.
