The pendulum is suspended from a soft hand braided rayon cord. I braid every cord myself as part of my own mindful creative practice, treating this stage of the making process as a quiet, meditative ritual. It is a chance to slow down, focus on the craftsmanship of each piece and enjoy the simple rhythm of creating by hand. It is one of my favourite parts of making every pendulum.
