Unlike the regular 3-Chained Light Duty model, this Croco Drill Headed version adds a powerful integrated drill head at the front, enhancing its ability to tackle severe blockages before the chains do their descaling work. This feature makes it exceptionally suited for straight lines where blockages are dense, though it sacrifices some flexibility for increased power. If you want, you can also buy regular chain knocker of your choosing and a seperate drill head. Then you can combine those two whenever you choose to get the same results. Perfect chain tool for unclogging and descaling PVC pipes Like all the other Light Duty Chains, this 3-Chained option does not have any kind of hard metal (carbide) tips in the chain links like Medium or Heavy Duty Chain Knockers do. This minimizes the risk of damaging the pipe's interior, making them the ideal choice for cleaning & descaling tasks in PVC, ABS, PEX, Copper and other fragile/soft pipes. The integrated Croco Drill Head does have same kind of carbides in the front that Heavy Duty Chain knockers have, but it is smooth from the sides being protecting the pipe itself. Please be aware that drilling against PVC pipe wall with this kind of drill head might damage it since it is only used for unclogging. We always recommend using CCTV when working inside pipes.Light Duty Chains are also a great option when a pipe made from tougher material is in considerably rough condition (cracks etc) and you don't want to take any risks.
