Light It Up is one of my preliminary studies for future sculptural forms. Using imagery cut from gardening, fishing and aviation magazines, the collage creates a hybridised, imagin ed form of a functional, biological machine. I have been looking closely at the collage works of surrealist painter Ally Thompson and this work is inspired by his 1968 work The Cruel Garden. Show more
