These ultra-light pine stretchers are our cheapest option, but are nonetheless sturdy enough for many artists' purposes- this is because they are produced from the same clear grade, kiln-dried Hoop Pine as our larger-profile Professional Quality Pine stretchers. Clear grade means that the timber is supplied free of knots. Hoop Pine is a superior timber to Radiata and other pine species commonly used for stretcher arms, as it is less prone to warping. These stretchers are laminated and finger jointed for added stability. Please note: No bracing is available for Light Weight Pine Stretchers.
