Condition: Excellent, meticulously and lovingly restored condition. 7'8" x 20 Tom Parrish Lightning Bolt vintage single fin ReStoked by Bob Merson Bob Merson not only restores vintage surfboards, he "restokes" them! Tom Parrish was one of surfing’s most popular shapers for large Hawaiian waves in the mid 70’s. In a magazine article he was called “The shaper to the stars”. When the Australians and South Africans first came to the North Shore to prove themselves in Hawaiian surf they wanted Parrish shapes. This was a glass on restoration. Tom’s beautiful original shape has not been altered. There was a large delam area on the back third of the deck. The bubble was cut out and new foam was added. This was the only area that was re-glassed. The original fin was cut off and glassed back on after all the repairs were made on the bottom. I took some liberties with the color making the bottom and rails dark green and the deck lighter. Resin pin lines were added with the bolt design on the rails. The large white resin bolt has the black offset shadow. Additional Info: This is a used board, and we’re excited for you to check it out!
