The lightweight race girth is made with a single buckle and it is used normally on saddles with one girth strap and is lighter than a two buckle girth. The lightweight single race girth is made by Shepherds with 3" web elasticated at one end The girth has a non slip lining with 3 keepers for the overgirth. It is available with 1" , 7/8" or 3/4" buckles. This measurement is taken from the inside edges of the buckle. The girth comes in a range of sizes from 36" to 56" in either black or blue striped. This measurement is taken from buckle end to buckle end of the girth including the buckles.
