Canadian pop-punk/emo quintet Like Pacific was formed in Toronto in 2010. The five friends all bonded over a shared love of hard-hitting melodic rock, eventually adopting the motto "stay pissed" to describe their approach. They self-released their debut EP, "The Worst...," in 2011, followed a year later by a second EP, "Homebound." In 2014, their heavy, tuneful sound drew the attention of New Damage/Pure Noise Records, which released a self-titled EP by Like Pacific early the following year.
