The Lil' Jenny is the same shape and style as the Jenny, but just a Lil' bit smaller. Made from vintage repurposed saddle leather (or Hair on Hide backed with veggie tanned leather for stability). The Lil' Jenny has a zipper closure to keep your items secure and an inside zipper pocket for your smaller or more personal items. This bag features a short strap with a 6"-9" drop (this depends on the piece of horse tack we use to create the strap) and a long crossbody strap made from vintage horse tack. Dimensions are approximately: 9.5" W at bottom & 8.5" W at top x 8" H x 3" D The Jenny is named after a female donkey, one of the most common equines used as a pack animal. The Jenny was our first ‘saddle bag’ (first style made from saddle leather) and when we think of saddle bags we envision a ‘work horse’ that can carry a lot and that made us think of a donkey! We get most of our vintage horse tack from a local non profit, Skagit Animals In Need (SAIN). SAIN's mission is to prevent and respond to animal cruelty and neglect primarily in support of law enforcement.
