I prefer to think of offerings not as “sacrifices,” but as gifts with some reciprocal nature - a beautiful gesture of gratitude and respect. When offered freely, it establishes a clear and healthy energetic dynamic between humans and demons. Demons respond exceptionally well to offerings. If you don't use them as a way of pressure, they will take your gesture seriously. They are attentive to intention and timing. However, not all offerings are interchangeable. Each entity has its preferences, aversions, and nuances. Some offerings are welcomed. Others are ignored or rejected. This is not a complication but part of the relationship itself. Once you understand this, it becomes easy to give them what they value and to offer it in a way that feels natural, respectful, and aligned. When demons have been generous with you, many feel inclined to respond with generosity in return. Personally, the demons I work with do so much for me and for those who come to me that reciprocating feels natural and the right thing to do. Engaging in the offering process is not a duty but a pleasure, and something I incorporate into my practice almost daily.
