"Waterlily" is the ultimate luxury wrap! Starting with a beautiful piece of Italian silk crepe de chine, I carefully laid out fine layers of merino wool with silk and tencel, which creates amazing shine and softness. Special attention was paid to the layout of the fibers with focus on color gradation and blending to imitate watercolors on paper. Hand felted, as all my creations are. Measurements: "11" x 74" *Care instructions: Hand wash is COLD water (never hot) with very mild detergent. Do not agitate while washing, as the fine layer of wool will continue to shrink – just a short soak and a few dips. Rinse cold and gently squeeze out the access water by rolling in a towel. Gently shape it back to its original shape (blocking). Drying flat is ideal. If ironing is necessary, use wool setting with steam and press gently to maintain texture. Hand block to shape while ironing is helpful. This item can also be dry-cleaned but hand washing is recommended to maintain the texture.
