When I first started making soap, there was a lot of experimenting. Finding the perfect blend of nourishing oils actually came together quite quickly, but what took me much longer to learn was how much pure essential oil was needed to create the beautiful, lasting scent I wanted in my soaps. Because of that, I have a quite a few batches that are absolutely beautiful to use, but the scent isn't up to the standard I now expect from every Ukiyo bar. Some have a very subtle scent, some have no scent at all (just the smell of oils), and a few are varieties I've decided to discontinue at this present moment.
