Also known as Sea Lavender, this compact plant is perfect for growing in pots or planting in borders and flower beds. It prefers a sunny spot in well drained soil so make sure any pots or containers have drainage holes and add some gravel to the bottom of the pot. Lush green leaves form a base rosette and being semi-evergreen, much of the foliage will remain intact over the winter months. Slim stems bloom from the base, with pillows of tiny purple flowers appearing in early summer and lasting until autumn.
