The Local Incident Management Team exercise for a Virtual Kidnapping is designed to move the management team through a systematic process of identifying, evaluating and addressing complex and interrelated risks within an escalating emergency or crisis situation; exercising the phases or planning and preparation, responding and managing, and then transitioning and recovering from a disruptive incident. This exercise tests the ability for leaders to identify and evaluate immediate, near and long-term risks, as well as primary and peripheral risks.
