The Line Spooler is the ideal way of spooling new fishing line onto your reel. It is critical that the braided line is spooled under tension. Reels holding line that is wound on un der either variable tension, or even worse, slack or no tension, will cause “bedding” of line, when the line is under pressure. “Bedding” of line is where the line cuts in under itself.
