Linear Gate Edge Radio Extra Transmitter | LIN-SGET The SGET is part of Nortek Security and Control control product line. In a typicalinstallation, the SGET is mounted on a motorized gate, door, or barrier arm and wiredto a 10K exterior safety edge sensor which presents a closed circuit across theconnecting wires when an object is hit during the closing of a gate. To ensure full compatibility with all gate edge supervision features, NSC recommendsMiller gate edge sensors with 10K only. Please specify when ordering the sensor. If the edge sensor is pressed for 1/4 second, the SGET transmits a message to the SGER to reverse the movement of the gate. The SGET circuit board has been coated to prevent moisture damage and is mounted inside a weather-resistant fiberglass box. The mounting box attaches to the gate through sealed interior mounting screws.
