This subtle but highly textured design combines off-white, grey tones and black, with linear threads in charcoal black, woven underneath the top layers of the painting. The smudged , soft textures juxtapose against the sharper marks within the piece and are reminiscent of a soft linen fabric, with loose threaded edges, hence the title of the piece. This print would add interest to many spaces including a hallway or room with soft furnishings and linen details.
