Barbour pure flax carpet thread is a strong 3 ply linen thread. Each silky skein of green has its own blue label which reads: "Barbour's Pure Flax 43 yards". The skein of white has a gold gilt label which reads "Made in Ireland". The black has the original paper Barbours label with each skein. Barbour has been making the best linen threads since 1784.
