We prewash our linen fabrics so shrinkage is not a concern. Our wide brim hats have a millinery wire at the edge of the brim to prevent flopping and the wire may be bent by a washing machine. Air dry your hat in the shade. Placing it over a vase prevents wrinkling in the crown. Iron the brim if needed using a slightly damp towel between the iron and brim. A steaming tea kettle will remove wrinkles from the crown. Do not place hot iron directly on inside crown lining. Do not bleach. Do not dryclean. Pack hats flat for travel to avoid bending wire.
