In my family, no holiday meal was complete without the addition of my father's cranberry sauce always made with lingonberries (we grew up calling them low-bush cranberries) that we gathered in the fall. These ruby-red jewels are some of my favorites to harvest and in the fall I'm always on the lookout for them! In order to achieve a multi-color print, I used the jigsaw printing method, which means that I physically cut the block apart, inked the pieces separately and then put it back together - like a puzzle - before inking and peeling. Printed image size: 5.5"x8" Paper size: hand torn, approx. 8x10" limited edition print, titled and signed in pencil Pairs beautifully with my 'Bunchberry' print Printed with oil-based, archival quality inks in a velvety black and vibrant red on acid free, natural Lokta paper. This is a sustainable paper, handmade in Nepal, with gorgeous flecks of fiber and texture - due to the handmade nature, sizing is not exact!
