*Black-out ( White-colored )totally blocks out the light. It is always offered on Romans with Printed Fabrics, so that when the shade is lowered, the pattern is not broken. *Dim-ou t ( White-colored) is a very slight "black-out". It does let some light in. Otherwise, in most cases, you can choose the lining: *Black-out (white) *Dim-out (white) (If you order an "unlined" roman, you can request lining in the Special Request Blank, and you will be charge for that lining at the time of shipping, usually $50.00) NOTE: You should read all info on each Roman, so that you know exactly what you are paying for.
