Linnaeus luxury lambswool blanket Kersten Lindström has designed this beautiful Linnaeus lambswool blanket as a tribute to the famous Swedish botanist Carl von Linnaeus, who is one of the world's foremost scientists. Woven from luxurious 100% Brushed Lambswool oeko-tex®, this wool blanket features pretty flowers and flourishes in whites and green, rose pink, greys and yellows. This blanket is perfect for snuggling under on chilly evenings. Leave the blanket on the back of your favourite chair or sofa, or use it as an extra layer on your bed. Our wool blankets also make perfect gifts; all our orders are packaged in tissue paper, ready for you to gift. The blanket is finished with a blanket-stitched edge. Design notes: The blanket LINNAEUS has been developed in collaboration with Uppsala Linnaean Gardens. The pattern is inspired by Carl von Linné's residences and gardens, both in Uppsala and at his birthplace Råshult in Småland. Hand-painted wallpaper and wall patterns, the hand-hewn stone staircase in the Linnaeus Museum and the water lily ponds in the Linnaeus Garden have become borders in the blanket pattern.
