Lion Collograph A friendly lion. This print is created by etching the design into thick board. Once the design is complete the plate is sealed. Ink is then pushed into the etched g rooves, the surface of the plate wiped clean, so it is ready to lift a print off onto damp paper and voila! It is printed. As usual, each print lifted is independently inked and wiped each finished version will have natural differences as it is a hands on process. Printed using Cranfield etching inks.
