The chosen shield of the hoplites of ancient Greece, the aspis was used in tight shoulder to shoulder formations with spears and short swords. This LARP model includes a full handle on the back, with straps built in the frame to make it both stable and easy to adjust. It's the perfect shield for a Spartan soldier, a mythological hero, a cyclopean disciple, or a demi-god champion.
