Overview This module is based around the TP4056 and made for charging lithium polymer batteries using the constant-current/constant-voltage (CC/CV) charging method. Does not include discharge protection such as a DW01. The PCB features a Mini USB port so you can directly connect to the computer USB port for battery charging. There are also direct IN +/- pads on the PCB to solder or wire directly to a power supply. The charging current can be adjusted by changing the on-board “VPROG” resistors: VPROG 30 kOhm20 kOhm10 kOhm5 kOhm4 kOhm3 kOhm2 kOhm1.66 kOhm1.5 kOhm1.33 kOhm1.2 kOhm IBAT 50 mA70 mA130 mA250 mA300 mA400 mA580 mA690 mA780 mA900 mA1,000 (default, mounted on PCB) Chip Datasheet: https://dlnmh9ip6v2uc.cloudfront.net/datasheets/Prototyping/TP4056.pdf Features Chipset: TP4056 Trickle Charge Threshold: 2.9V Input Voltage: 4.5V~5.5V Fully Charged Voltage: 4.2V Charging Current: 1A, adjustable (see above) Max Discharge: 1.2A peak Working Temperature: -10℃ ~ 85℃ Charging Method: Linear charging 1% Charging Precision: 1.5% Charging Indicator: Red LED for charging, green LED fully charged Interface: Mini USB Notes: Does not come with Mini USB cable. Get one here. For single cell batteries only. Does not feature discharge protection. Can theoretically support up to 8V input, but this voids warranty. Charging and discharging at the same time is untested.
