Resembling stars, the leaves of Liquidambar styraciflua 'Stared' are deeply incised and highly ornate. Glossy green in summer, they transform to vivid red and scarlet in autumn for a magnificent display. Corky bark and insignificant purple-red flowers followed by spiky fruit capsules add further interest. Liquidambar 'Stared' is a medium sized tree with a pyramidal shape and dense branch structure.
