One of our most popular Sweet Gum trees, Liquidambar styraciflua 'Worplesdon' has fantastic star-shaped leaves that are deeply lobed. The large glossy green foliage will delight wi th a display of autumn colour that begins with yellow and orange, developing to vibrant claret red. An additional feature is the corky, fissured bark, that is ideal for children to create bark rubbings from. Liquidambar 'Worplesdon' is a pyramid-shaped tree and will grow to 10 x 6 metres in 20 years. We recommend planting in a sunny or partially-shaded site with moist to well-draining soil.
