Liquitex Matte Varnish is a permanent, UV-resistant finish that gives a flat, non-reflective surface without clouding or blooming — the finish is clean and even, unlike some matte varnishes that leave a whitish cast in cold conditions. Useful for work intended to be photographed, for illustration originals, or anywhere a gloss finish would be distracting. Apply in thin coats once the painting is fully cured. Two coats recommended.
