This is Liquitex - the world's first commercial water-based artists' acrylic paint.About this product: Liquitex Crackle Paste allows you to create crazed, cracked paint textures on any rigid, acrylic-friendly surface; Great for antiqued and weathered effects, the medium dries to a crackle finish with a hard, opaque finish; Maintains paint adhesion, durability without flaking; Provides an archival finish; Apply directly from the tub with a knife and overpaint or mix into acrylic color and use freely; Recommended thickness for crackling effect is between 5 and 10 mm; Can be used on its own and painted over once dry; Can be mixed with acrylic color – using no more than 10% paint to 90% medium; Cracking will vary depending on how thickly you apply it - the effects will be more obvious on thicker applications but will take longer to dry; When using on wood, seal with a base layer of fluid/gel medium and let dry before Crackle Paste application.
