As a child, I would sit on my dad’s lap listening to poets, writers, and dreamers arguing about art, literature, and changing the world. The only thing they agreed on was the coffee. Espresso-style coffee was considered a luxury up until the 90’s and the only place you could get it was in Little Italy.
