Beep arrives in bright turquoise fur with pink-and-purple streaks, enormous eyes, and a red mouth clearly prepared to say something important. Slip a hand inside and this nine-inch monster becomes a storyteller, comedian, conversation partner, or enthusiastic singer with no sense of volume. The compact puppet is easy for small hands to bring into pretend play, reading time, or a homemade show. No stage is required—though the back of a sofa has launched many distinguished puppet careers. Show more
