Based on the British Carden Loyd the Soviets created the T-27 tankette. Production started in 1931 with over 2,000 being built. Despite it's thin armor, light armament and cramped interior, the T-27 proved to be simple and reliable and remained in service until 1941. Now for the first time this vehicle is available in 1/16 scale. The completed model comes in at about 6.5" (165mm) long, so even in this larger scale it won't take up too much room in the display case.
