This board is for you if you want a playful carving and pumping experience in a light, compact, and ultra-comfortable presentation. Also, if you love to cruise and chill but also like the versatility of a symmetrical shape and twin kicks for the occasional tomfoolery, and you appreciate having just the right amount of flex to smooth out the road ahead. The compact wheelbase and top mount design produce a nimble and responsive ride. The slim outline shape with tapered tips pairs nicely with narrow to mid-size trucks for intuitive foot placement and telepathic handling. Mild concave keeps toes and heels comfortably secure. Rocker between the trucks cradles your feet for a locked-in feel, enhances stability, and lowers the board for easier pushing. The rocker profile flattens at the inner truck holes to preserve steering geometry and creates a subtle “nano drop” for board awareness and extra support when carving and sliding. Mellow nose and tail kicks provide ample leverage for manuals, shuvits, and other tricks while keeping the board compact and streamlined. CNC-milled wheel wells allow clearance for 65mm wheels with no risers. A vertically laminated bamboo core is sandwiched between triaxial fiberglass skins and bio-based epoxy resin for high strength in a thin, lightweight construction. Snowboard-style top and bottom sheets add abrasion resistance and vibration damping. The Chinchiller was designed in collaboration with Kyle Chin as a unique interpretation of the carving experience with a focus on comfort and inspiration for play. Subtle flex keeps the ride quality smooth but is stiff enough for more technical tricks and slides. Featuring artwork by RETOKA, a design studio founded by the Barcelona-based artist duo Toni López and Zara Castellanos. With a passion for exploring the possibilities of color, shape, light effects, and movement, they specialize in creating unique and innovative digital art pieces that showcase their own distinct visual language. Our expertly curated complete setup features Paris 150mm 50° raw trucks, paired with Orangatang 65mm Love Handles in the orange 80a formula (keeping things quick and light but also plush and grippy). The setup is finished off with some high performing Loaded Jehu V2 bearings and Loaded ever-so-tough 1" button head hardware. It has been half a decade since I've been in the same country as Marco, Camilo, Yazper, and Miguel. Even longer since we all worked on a video together. But it was surprising how despite all the time apart, we were able to get right back into the swing of things and pick up where we had all left off. There was a near immediate understanding of what we were there to do and how we were going to do it. While our bodies aren't as malleable and youthful as we once were, the fun and stoke were as high as they had ever been. So I hope you enjoy the sweat and effort the guys put into this project.
