An Edwardian heart locket engraved with a lush foliate pattern that recalls a curling feather plume. The engraving is crisp and deep, it covers most of the front of the locket. The back of this English locket is unadorned, highly polished, and stamped "9ct Backs & Fronts". The interior of the locket is lined with brown paper, the frame is intact on one side, and the glass is missing. "9ct Backs & Fronts" means the exterior of the locket is 9ct gold, while the hinge and interior metal are not precious. It hangs on a modern recycled 10k gold rope chain from a simple jump ring.
