This shim allows you to LOCK your bracket in the on show/visible position for road use. Simply slide the shim up and it will stop the plate from being able to flip. Once installed you do not need tools to locks the plate. These fit EVERY metal Flip N Dip bracket but there are some restrictions: If the “on show” position of your bracket is high, this is the position it will lock in.
