Loflin Fabrication Auger The Loflin Fabrication Auger is a high-torque planetary-drive auger for skid steers and tractors, built with a heavy-duty gear reduction box, heat-treated output shaft, and a reinforced quick-attach plate. It's compatible with multiple bit sizes and flight patterns to suit a range of ground types. The planetary gear drive delivers smooth, high torque for boring in varied soil, and the heat-treated output shaft carries the drive load. Bits and pilot tips are replaceable to match soil conditions, and the reinforced quick-attach plate mounts to standard skid steers. Hydraulic hoses are included for connection to the machine's auxiliary hydraulics. Suited to post-hole and fence installation, tree and shrub planting, and pier and footing work.
