This Loft Alpha-Solid Hydrogen is a factory second, a straight-flying putt and approach disc with small cosmetic flaws that do not touch the flight, at a lower price than a first-run disc. Flight Numbers: 1 / 2 / 0 / 0 Alpha-Solid is Loft's stiffer Hydrogen blend, firmer in the hand than the Beta-Solid version and a little slower to beat in. It holds its shape and grip through a long stretch of practice putts before the plastic starts to soften. The Hydrogen was built to fly dead straight, and it does, no hyzer drift, no anhyzer fade, just a flat line whether you putt it, drive it, or throw an upshot with it. That zero turn and zero fade make it one of the most predictable discs in the shop for reading a line and trusting it. New players get a putter that will not surprise them, and anyone who has struggled with an understable putter turning over or an overstable one fading too early should feel the difference immediately. It also works as a practice-round marker disc since the flight is so repeatable. Want a softer, grippier version of the same straight flight? The Loft Beta-Solid Hydrogen beats in faster. Prefer a first-run disc without the factory second marks? The standard Alpha-Solid Hydrogen is the same mold. See the rest of the stable putters. Speed 1, glide 2, turn 0, fade 0. Diameter 21.2 cm, rim width 0.7 cm, max weight 177 g.
