Follow the recommendations given on the Primer cans. Do not apply to wallpaper. Mandatory step : Apply a coat of Undercoat Primer for wall coatings using a paint roller. Two tones application : To create this effect a ratio of 2 buckets of the darker color for 1 of the lighter color is needed. Square feet coverage is given per coat of product. Example: to cover 100 sq.ft. with the Berlin/Los Angeles combination of colors, 2 x Berlin and 1 x Los Angeles is needed. Choose two shades (see suggested matches below) of LOFT Original that you would like to work with. Apply one thin coat of the darker shade on the entire surface using our Stainless Steel Trowel or our Soft Stainless Steel spatula. Let surface dry completely ± 4h. Then work with the 2 shades alternating colors vertically as you go along. Work unevenly mixing simultaneously more or less the two shades directly on your wall. Without letting it dry, smooth out with the tool. You can rework an area as often as you want. Single color application : Apply one thin coat on the entire surface using our Stainless Steel Trowel or our Soft Stainless Steel spatula. Let surface dry completely ± 4h. On your second coat, apply the coating unevenly, to create a thin layer of texture. Protection (optional step): If you wish to be able to wash your wall with soft soap and water, use LOFT Protector Matt Finish. Without the protector, the wall can only be dusted.
