Single Origin New Guinea Roast Profile: Dark Flavor Notes: Brown Sugar, Prune, Walnut Cupping Notes: Sweet raw sugar aroma, good acidity and creamy body, caramel overtones with hin ts of dried sweet apricot and a slight cocoa note on the finish. Fair-Trade Organic premium coffee grown in the Eastern Highlands on the island of Papua New Guinea. Produced by a co-op which supports over 3,000 farmers local to the region. These beans grow on mature trees, some over 25 years old, producing a sweeter and more complex cup. When we started roasting coffee we thought our favorite beans hailed from the famous Sumatra region of Indonesia, but this bean changed everything.
